As Burt Flickinger discussed during his weekly "Retail Roundup" with Cheryl Casone on MORNINGS with MARIA, the worst economic crisis in 10 years is forcing consumers to choose between heating homes, feeding families and giving giving gifts, while retailers are facing the worst Out-of-Stocks in 70 years. He also discussed the trend toward pre-owned products, not only cars but also clothes and other items, and the wisdom of purchasing American-made goods and supporting local retailers who have more merchandise because they buy locally.
